Solar Eclipses in 2018

Brenda Black, C.A.P.

A Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun. This happens at the New Moon. Solar Eclipses are game changers. When the degree of the eclipse aligns with a planet or sensitive point in your Astrology Chart life-changing events happen within six months to a year after a Solar Eclipse.

Here is information about the Solar Eclipses in 2018:

This eclipse covers only part of the Sun like a bite taken out of a cookie. It was seen in parts of Chile, Argentina and southern Brazil. It is mainly seen over Antarctica, the South Pacific and South Atlantic Oceans. The Solar Eclipse is at 27 degrees of Aquarius. This eclipse opens up the energy of the Solar Eclipse at 28 Leo that happened on August 21, 2017. Both eclipses have touched planets and angles in our current President’s chart, leading to extraordinary events in the Oval Office to date. The 27 Aquarius Eclipse touched the Moon of the USA in the Sibly Chart affecting many Americans economically, socially and morally. Jupiter and Mars will touch this eclipse during the first two weeks of November, 2018, bringing big news and more changes for Americans. This eclipse is a Saros Series 1 South according to astrologer Bernadette Brady. It originated at the South Pole in 1729 and repeats itself every 18 years, 11 days and 8 hours. We are all flooded with new ideas and opinions and they can be observed on the Internet, TV and newspapers. We just have to remember not to be too quick to act or respond to these new ideas.

This eclipse again covers only part of the Sun. It is seen in the southern parts of Australia and New Zealand and in the southern Pacific and Indian oceans. The Solar Eclipse is at 21 degrees of Cancer. The Nodes of the Moon and Saturn travel over this point during the last two weeks of April 2019 when we should see some big news. This Eclipse aligns with the USA Mercury, our President’s Saturn, and the Mars in our Secretary of State’s chart. There should be big changes and publicity for these two men as well as the USA though May of 2019. This is a Saros Series 2 Old North according to Bernadette Brady in her book “Predictive Astrology.” This may be a difficult eclipse causing separation for some friendships, relationships and families. News comes fast and we will act upon it at a quick pace.

Once again, this Solar Eclipse covers just a part of the Sun. It will be visible in parts of northeastern Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Scandinavia, Russia and parts of North and South Korea. This eclipse will be at 19 degrees of Leo and is a Saros Series 2 New North. There may be some confusion around this time. According to author Bernadette Brady, many will experience a change of direction after the collapse of existing structures in our personal lives and the world. We can see cities and towns around Mount Kilauea in Hawaii and the Fuego Volcano in Guatemala destroyed by ash and lava. The effects of a solar eclipse start happening 3-4 months before the actual date of the event.

The next Solar Eclipse over North America will happen on April 8, 2024.
